[Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 7th February, 2014] CHAPTER V JURISDICTION AND PROCEDURE 41. Cognizance of offences.---(1) Subject to subsection (2), a Court shall not take cognizance of an offence under this Act except on a complaint made by or on behalf of the Food Authority. (2) If the offence causes death of or injury to a person, an aggrieved person may also file a complaint in the Court under Chapter XVI of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898 (Act No. V of 1898).
