ACT VII OF 2014 ACT VII OF 2014 BALOCHISTAN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE (PREVENTION AND PROTECTION) ACT, 2014 An Act to make provisions for protection against domestic violence. [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 12th February, 2014] No.PAB/Legis: V (07)/2014, dated 12-2-2014.---The Balochistan Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Bill 2014, (Bill No.07 of 2014), having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 1st February, 2014 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 11th February, 2014 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly.:-- Preamble.---Whereas the Constitution recognizes the fundamental rights of women and men to dignity of person; And whereas it is expedient to institutionalize measures which prevent and protect women and children from domestic violence and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 1. Short title, extent and commencement.---(1) This Act may be called the Balochistan Domestic Violence (Prevention and Protection) Act, 2014. (2) It extends to the whole of Balochistan, except Tribal Areas. (3) It shall come into force at onc
