ACT VII OF 2014 ACT VII OF 2014 BALOCHISTAN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE (PREVENTION AND PROTECTION) ACT, 2014 An Act to make provisions for protection against domestic violence. [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 12th February, 2014] 27. Power to make rules.---(1) The Government may by notification in the Official Gazette make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing provisions, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely; (a) the form in which an application by the aggrieved person under subsection (1) of section 5 seeking relief under this Act, may be made and the particulars which such application shall contain under subsection (2) of that section; and (b) the form in which an affidavit may be filed by the aggrieved person under subsection (2) of section 11. (3) Notwithstanding anything contained in subsections (1) and (2), the Government may make rules for the appointment and functioning of the Protection Committees and Protection Officers.
