THE ABASYN UNIVERSITY ACT, 2009 THE ABASYN UNIVERSITY ACT, 2009. (1[KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA] ACT NO. XIII OF 2009) [First published after having received the assent of the Governor of the 1[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] in the Gazette of 1[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] (Extraordinary) ,dated the 24th October, 2009] 1.Substituted vide Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act No. IV of 2011 AN ACT to provide for the establishment of a University at Peshawar in the name of Abasyn University. Preamble.---WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the establishment of a University at Peshawar in the name of Abasyn University, in the private sector, and for matters ancillary thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows: CHAPTER -VII GRNERAL PROVISIONS 35. Service of the University.---(1) All persons employed by the University in accordance with the terms and conditions of service prescribed by statutes shall be persons in the service of the University. (2) An officer, teacher or other employee of the University shall retire from service on the attainment of such age or tenure of service as may be prescribed.
