XIII OF 2009) [First published after having received the assent of the Governor of the 1[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] in the Gazette of 1[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] (Extraordinary) ,dated the 24th October, 2009] 1.Substituted vide Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act No. IV of 2011 AN ACT to provide for the establishment of a University at Peshawar in the name of Abasyn University. Preamble.---WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the establishment of a University at Peshawar in the name of Abasyn University, in the private sector, and for matters ancillary thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows: CHAPTER -VII GRNERAL PROVISIONS 38. Filling of casual vacancies in Authorities.---Any casual vacancy among the members of any Authority shall be filled, as soon as conveniently may be, in the same manner and by the same person or Authority that had appointed the member whose place has become vacant and the person appointed to the vacancy shall be a member of such Authority for the residue of the term for which the person whose place he fills would have been a member.
