THE ABASYN UNIVERSITY ACT, 2009 THE ABASYN UNIVERSITY ACT, 2009. (1[KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA] ACT NO. XIII OF 2009) [First published after having received the assent of the Governor of the 1[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] in the Gazette of 1[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] (Extraordinary) ,dated the 24th October, 2009] 1.Substituted vide Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act No. IV of 2011 AN ACT to provide for the establishment of a University at Peshawar in the name of Abasyn University. Preamble.---WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the establishment of a University at Peshawar in the name of Abasyn University, in the private sector, and for matters ancillary thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows: CHAPTER -VII GRNERAL PROVISIONS 40. Proceedings of Authorities not invalidated by the vacancies. ---No act, resolution or decision of any Authority shall be invalid by reason of any vacancy on the Authority doing, passing, or making it or by reason of any want of qualification or invalidity in the election, appointment or nomination of any de facto member of the Authority, whether present or absent.
