THE ABASYN UNIVERSITY ACT, 2009 THE ABASYN UNIVERSITY ACT, 2009. (1[KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA] ACT NO. XIII OF 2009) [First published after having received the assent of the Governor of the 1[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] in the Gazette of 1[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] (Extraordinary) ,dated the 24th October, 2009] 1.Substituted vide Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act No. IV of 2011 AN ACT to provide for the establishment of a University at Peshawar in the name of Abasyn University. Preamble.---WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the establishment of a University at Peshawar in the name of Abasyn University, in the private sector, and for matters ancillary thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows: CHAPTER -VII GRNERAL PROVISIONS 43. Removal of difficulties.---(1) If any question arises as to the interpretation of any of the provisions of this Act, it shall be placed before the Chancellor whose decision thereon shall be final. (2) If any difficulty arises in giving effect to any of the provisions of this Act, the Chancellor may make such order after obtaining the views of the Senate, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, as may appear to him to be necessary for removing the difficulty. (3) Where this Act makes any provision for anything to be done but no provision or no sufficient provision has been made as respects the authority by whom, or the time at which, or the manner in which, it shall be done, then it shall be done by such authority, at such time, or in such manner as the Chancellor may direct after obtaining the views of the Senate.
