XIII OF 2009) [First published after having received the assent of the Governor of the 1[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] in the Gazette of 1[Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] (Extraordinary) ,dated the 24th October, 2009] 1.Substituted vide Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act No. IV of 2011 AN ACT to provide for the establishment of a University at Peshawar in the name of Abasyn University. Preamble.---WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the establishment of a University at Peshawar in the name of Abasyn University, in the private sector, and for matters ancillary thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows: CHAPTER -VII GRNERAL PROVISIONS 45. Power to allow appointment of employees of Government, other universities or educational or research institutions to the University.---(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act the Senate may, on the advice of the Syndicate, allow any post in the University to be filled by appointment, on such terms as the Senate may specify, an employee of Government or any other university or educational or research institution. (2) Where any appointment has been made under this section, the terms and conditions of service of the appointee shall not be less favourable than those admissible to him immediately before such appointment and he shall be entitled to all benefits of his post of service.
