ACT XI OF 2017 ACT XI OF 2017 ALTAF HUSSAIN UNIVERSITY AT KARACHI (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2017 An Act to amend the Altaf Hussain University at Karachi Act, 2014 [Gazette of Sindh Extraordinary, Part IV, 12th April, 2017] NO.PAS/LEGIS-B-11/2017, dated 12.4.2017.---The Altaf Hussain University at Karachi (Amendment) Bill, 2017 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on 27th March, 2017 and assented to by the Governor of Sindh on 08th April, 2017 is hereby published as an Act of the Legislature of Sindh. Preamble.---WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Altaf Hussain University at Karachi Act, 2014, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 3. Amendment of section 17 of Sindh Act No. I of 2015.---In the said Act, in section 17, in subsection (1) - (a) in clause (d), for the words whole time member of the Commission nominated by him , the words or his nominee shall be substituted; (b) in clause (f), for the words Secretary to Government of Sindh, Education Department or his nominee , the words Secretary to the Government of Sindh, Sindh Higher Education Commission or his nominee shall be substituted; (c) after clause (h), the following new clause shall be added:- (i) Chairman, Charter Inspection and Evaluation Committee or his nominee. .
