ACT IV OF 2017 ACT IV OF 2017 BALOCHISTAN SPECIAL DEVELOPMENT BOARD ACT, 2017 An Act to provide for the establishment of a Board to be known as the Balochistan Special Development Board [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 8th June, 2017] No. PAB/Legis:v(05)/2017, dated 8.6.2017.---The Balochistan Special Development Board (For Low Cost Housing Schemes) Bill (Bill No.05 of 2017) having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 20th May, 2017 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 07 June, 2017 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---WHEREAS, it is expedient to provide for establishment of a Board to be known as the Balochistan Special Development Board, for considering, designing and launching low-cost housing and shelter homes schemes for the needy and homeless people in the province of Balochistan; and to provide for the matters connected therewith or ancillary thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows:-- 11. Audit and Accounts.---(1) The Board shall maintain accounts of receipts and expenditure in accordance with the rules. (2) The Board shall maintain an internal Audit Division which shall regularly undertake institutional internal check and control. (3) The accounts of the Board shall be annually audited through a firm of external Chartered Accountants approved by the Board and the report of the Chartered Accountant along with audited account shall be presented to Government.
