ORDINANCE II OF 2018 ORDINANCE II OF 2018 ANTI-TERRORISM (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2018 An Ordinance further to amend the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 [Gazette of Pakistan Extraordinary, Part-I, 9th February, 2018] No. F. 2(1)2018-Pub., dated 9.2.2018.---The following Ordinance promulgated by the President is hereby published for general information:-- WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 (XXVII of 1997) for the purposes hereinafter appearing: AND WHEREAS, the Senate and the National Assembly are not in session and the President is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; Now, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 89 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:- 2. Amendment of section 11B, Act XXVII of 1997.---In the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 (XXVII of 1997), herein after referred to as" the Act", in section 11 B in subsection (1), after clause (a), the following new clause shall be inserted, namely:- "(aa) listed under the United Nations (Security Council) Act, 1948 (XIV of 1948); or".
