BALOCHISTAN PROVINCIAL LAW OFFICERS (APPOINTMENT) RULES, 2015 BALOCHISTAN PROVINCIAL LAW OFFICERS (APPOINTMENT) RULES, 2015 (Amendments) [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 30th March, 2017] No. 4-85/Admn/Law/Vol-III/4955-5005, dated 30.3.2017.---In exercise of powers conferred by section 6 of the Balochistan Provincial Law Officers Ordinance, 2001 (Ordinance No. XX of 2001), the Government of Balochistan is pleased to make the following amendments in the Balochistan Provincial Law Officers (Appointment) Rules, 2015, namely:-- In the aforesaid rules.-- (a) In rule 2, clause (1) shall be omitted; (b) for rule 3, the following shall be substituted, namely:-- "3. Appointment.--All appointments to the post of Provincial Law Officers shall be on contract basis and made by the Chief Minister on such terms and condition as prescribed in these rules and as specified in their appointment orders/notification."; (c) In rule 5, in proviso, the comma and the words ", each consisting of a period of three years" shall be omitted; (d) In rule 7, in sub-rule (2), for the words "Selection Committee recommend its", the words "case for appointment is moved" shall be substituted; (e) rule 9 shall be omitted; (f) in rule 12, for the word "and" the word "an" shall be substituted; and (g) after rule 24, the following new rule with heading shall be added, namely:-- "25. Relaxation of Rules.--Any provision of these rules, for reasons to be recorded in writing, may be relaxed in individual cases, if Government is satisfied that a strict application of these rules would cause undue hardship to the individual concerned.".
