ACT XXIII OF 2020 ACT XXIII OF 2020 ANTI-TERRORISM (SECOND AMENDMENT) ACT, 2020 An Act further to amend the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 [Gazette of Pakistan Extraordinary, Part I, 22nd August, 2020] No. F. 9(25)/2020-Legis, dated 21.8.2020.---The following Act of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) received the assent of the President on 19th August, 2020 and is hereby published for general information:- WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 (XXVII of 1997), for the purposes hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 9. Amendment of section 11Q, Act XXVII of 1997.---In the said Act, in section 11Q, after subsection (6), the following new subsection shall be inserted, namely:- "(6A) Where the court is satisfied that property subject to forfeiture under this section cannot be forfeited, it may order the forfeiture of any other property of the accused of an equivalent value to the property subject to forfeiture which stands identified or located in another jurisdiction.".
