ACT XXIII OF 2020 ACT XXIII OF 2020 ANTI-TERRORISM (SECOND AMENDMENT) ACT, 2020 An Act further to amend the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 [Gazette of Pakistan Extraordinary, Part I, 22nd August, 2020] No. F. 9(25)/2020-Legis, dated 21.8.2020.---The following Act of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) received the assent of the President on 19th August, 2020 and is hereby published for general information:- WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 (XXVII of 1997), for the purposes hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 11. Amendment in section 21EE, Act XXVII of 1997.---In the said Act, in section 21 EE, in subsection (3), for the expression "two years or with fine which may extend to one hundred thousand rupees or with both", the expression "three years or with fine which may extend to one million rupees in case of an individual and ten million rupees in case of a legal person or with both" shall be substituted.
