ACT X OF 2019 ACT X OF 2019 BALOCHISTAN BOARDS OF INTERMEDIATE AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ACT, 2019 An Act to provide for re-constituting and establishing of the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Balochistan and the matters ancillary thereto or connected therewith [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 25th October, 2019] No. PAB/Legis; V (07)/2019, dated 25.10.2019.---The Balochistan Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bill No. 07 of 2019 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 12th October, 2019 and assented to by the Governor Balochistan, on 24th October, 2019 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochitsan Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---WHEREAS, it is expedient to re-constitute, recognize and establish Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Balochistan and to provide for the matters ancillary thereto or connected therewith: It is hereby enacted as follows:- 3. Constitution and reconstitution of the Boards.---(1) The Government may, by a notification in the official Gazette, establish one or more Boards or reconstitute a Board already established, in respect of such areas or such institutions as it may deem necessary: Provided that, the Board constituted under the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Ordinance, 1977 (Ordinance No. X of 1977) i.e. Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Quetta, shall be reconstituted as "Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Quetta" soon after the commencement of this Act, under the provisions of the Act. (2) Upon constitution of a board under subsection (1), the Government may reconstitute the Board(s) already constituted under this Act, with such areas of jurisdiction and such institutions as it may deem necessary.
