ACT X OF 2019 ACT X OF 2019 BALOCHISTAN BOARDS OF INTERMEDIATE AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ACT, 2019 An Act to provide for re-constituting and establishing of the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Balochistan and the matters ancillary thereto or connected therewith [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 25th October, 2019] No. PAB/Legis; V (07)/2019, dated 25.10.2019.---The Balochistan Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bill No. 07 of 2019 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 12th October, 2019 and assented to by the Governor Balochistan, on 24th October, 2019 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochitsan Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---WHEREAS, it is expedient to re-constitute, recognize and establish Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Balochistan and to provide for the matters ancillary thereto or connected therewith: It is hereby enacted as follows:- 10. Meetings of the Board.---(1) A Board shall hold its meeting ordinarily twice in a year for which the notices shall be issued seven days prior to the date of the meeting. (2) The Chairman may, whenever he considers necessary, and shall, or on a requisition from at least seven members, call a meeting of the Board. (3) The quorum for meetings of a Board shall be more than half of the membership of the Board.
