ACT X OF 2019 ACT X OF 2019 BALOCHISTAN BOARDS OF INTERMEDIATE AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ACT, 2019 An Act to provide for re-constituting and establishing of the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Balochistan and the matters ancillary thereto or connected therewith [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 25th October, 2019] No. PAB/Legis; V (07)/2019, dated 25.10.2019.---The Balochistan Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bill No. 07 of 2019 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 12th October, 2019 and assented to by the Governor Balochistan, on 24th October, 2019 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochitsan Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---WHEREAS, it is expedient to re-constitute, recognize and establish Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Balochistan and to provide for the matters ancillary thereto or connected therewith: It is hereby enacted as follows:- 20. Committees of the Board.---(1) There shall have a Joint Academic Committee of the Boards, which shall serve all the Boards constituted or re-constituted under this Act. (2) The Boards shall have the following committees, namely:- (a) the Finance Committee; (b) the Appointment Committee; (c) the Committee for Appointment of Paper Setters and Head Examiners; (d) the Committees of Courses; and (e) such other Committees as may be prescribed by regulations. (3) In addition to the Committees mentioned in subsections (1) and (2), a Board may frame such committees or sub-committees as it may deem necessary. (4) A committee may appoint such sub-committees as it may consider necessary.
