ACT XIV OF 2019 ACT XIV OF 2019 BALOCHISTAN CHIEF MINISTER AND PROVINCIAL MINISTERS (SALARIES, ALLOWANCES AND PRIVILEGES) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2019 An Act further to amend the Balochistan Chief Minister and Provincial Ministers (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) Act, 1975 (Balochistan Act III of 1975) [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 24th January, 2020] No. PAB / Legis: V (20) / 2019, dated 24.1.2020.---The Balochistan Chief Minister and Provincial Ministers (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) (Amendment) Bill No. 20 of 2019 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 21st November, 2019 and assented to by the Governor Balochistan, on 23rd January, 2020 is hereby published as an Act the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---WHEREAS, it is expedient to amend the Balochistan Chief Minister and Provincial Ministers (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) Act, 1975 (Balochistan Act III of 1975), in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:- 2. Amendment of Section 7, Act III of 1975.---In the Balochistan Chief Minister and Provincial Ministers (Salaries, Allowances and Privileges) Act, 1975 (Balochistan Act III of 1975), section 7 shall be numbered as subsection (1) of that section and after subsection (1) as so numbered, the following new subsections (2), (3) and (4) shall be added, namely: - (2) The Chief Minister may use an aircraft or helicopter of Government, at Government expenses, for official use. (3) The Chief Minister may hire an aircraft or helicopter from open market or requisition it from Pakistan Air Force or Federal Government for official use, at the cost of the Government, in accordance with the rules made in this behalf by the Pakistan Air Force or Federal Government, as the case may be. (4) The Chief Minister may allow Speaker, Deputy Speaker, a Minister, Opposition Leader, or a public/civil servant for such official work to use an aircraft or helicopter of Government for official use at Government expenses: Provided that the Chief Minister may also allow any person to use aircraft or helicopter in emergency cases.
