ACT IX OF 2020 ACT IX OF 2020 BALOCHISTAN SEIZED AND FREEZED FACILITIES (HOSPITALS AND DISPENSARIES) ACT, 2020 An Act to establish the Hospitals and Dispensaries Management Board in Balochistan [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 9th November, 2020] No. PAB / Legis; V(10) / 2020, dated 9.11.2020.---The Balochistan Seized and Freezed Facilities (Hospitals and Dispensaries) Bill, 2020 (Bill No. 10 of 2020), having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 26th October, 2020 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 06th November, 2020 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. Whereas, it is necessary to establish the Hospitals and dispensaries Management Board; to manage the seized and freezed Facilities; to ensure mainstreaming of employees of such Facilities; to provide for the matters connected therewith and ancillary thereto. It is hereby enacted as follows: 6. Powers of the Board.---Subject to the Provision of the Act, the Board shall have the powers to: a) Acquire and dispose of a property and enter into contracts; b) Recruit and determine terms and conditions of employees of the Facilities, including special Dispensation if required; c) Formulate the budget of the Facilities; d) Lay down the procedure for the conduct of its business; e) Set up any committee as may be required for carrying out the purposes of the Act; f) Hire the services of employees belonging to the other provinces as one-time dispensation only; and g) Delegate Powers to the Chairperson, a Committee set up under the Act or any employees of the Board, except power to make rules or frame regulations.
