ACT IX OF 2020 ACT IX OF 2020 BALOCHISTAN SEIZED AND FREEZED FACILITIES (HOSPITALS AND DISPENSARIES) ACT, 2020 An Act to establish the Hospitals and Dispensaries Management Board in Balochistan [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 9th November, 2020] No. PAB / Legis; V(10) / 2020, dated 9.11.2020.---The Balochistan Seized and Freezed Facilities (Hospitals and Dispensaries) Bill, 2020 (Bill No. 10 of 2020), having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 26th October, 2020 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 06th November, 2020 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. Whereas, it is necessary to establish the Hospitals and dispensaries Management Board; to manage the seized and freezed Facilities; to ensure mainstreaming of employees of such Facilities; to provide for the matters connected therewith and ancillary thereto. It is hereby enacted as follows: 17. Regulations.---(1) the Board may frame regulations, not inconsistent with the provisions of the Act and the rules to carry out the purposes of the Act. (2) without prejudice to the generality of the forgoing powers, such regulations may provide for: a) schedule of meetings of the Board and the procedure to be followed in such meetings; b) Circumstances in which an ordinary or special meetings may be convened; c) manner in which the minutes shall be circulated and confirmed. d) powers to be exercised and functions to be performed by a committee; e) terms and conditions of employment of employees of the Board. f) delegation of administrative and financial powers to the Directorate, a Committee or an employee of the Board. g) manner in which the Board Fund shall be disbursed; h) procurement of goods and services; and i) any other matter within the scope of the Act.
