ACT VII OF 2020 ACT VII OF 2020 BALOCHISTAN SEIZED AND FREEZED INSTITUTIONS (MADAARIS AND SCHOOLS) ACT, 2020 An Act to provide for establishment of Madaaris and Schools Management Board in Balochistan [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 9th November, 2020] No. PAB / Legis: V(07) / 2020, dated 9.11.2020.---The Balochistan Seized and Freezed Institutions (Madaaris and Schools) Bill, 2020 (Bill No. 07 of 2020), having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 26th October, 2020 and assented to by the Governor Balochistan, on 06th November, 2020 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---WHEREAS, it is expedient to provide for establishment of Madaaris and Schools Management Board to manage the seized and freezed institutions; to ensure mainstreaming of students of such institutions; and to provide for matters connected therewith and ancillary thereto: It is hereby enacted as under: 16. Powers to make rules.---(1) The Board may, with prior approval of the Government, make rules for carrying out the purposes of the Act. (2) In particular and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing powers, such rules may provide for: (a) Forms and registers for keeping the accounts of the institutions; (b) Time and manner of submission of annual financial statement to the Government for approval; (c) Returns, statements, estimates, statistics, information or reports for submission to the Government; (d) Manner in which the accounts of the Board shall be audited; (e) Manner in which Board Fund shall be kept; and (f) Any other matter under the provisions of this Act.
