ACT VII OF 2020 ACT VII OF 2020 BALOCHISTAN SEIZED AND FREEZED INSTITUTIONS (MADAARIS AND SCHOOLS) ACT, 2020 An Act to provide for establishment of Madaaris and Schools Management Board in Balochistan [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 9th November, 2020] No. PAB / Legis: V(07) / 2020, dated 9.11.2020.---The Balochistan Seized and Freezed Institutions (Madaaris and Schools) Bill, 2020 (Bill No. 07 of 2020), having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 26th October, 2020 and assented to by the Governor Balochistan, on 06th November, 2020 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---WHEREAS, it is expedient to provide for establishment of Madaaris and Schools Management Board to manage the seized and freezed institutions; to ensure mainstreaming of students of such institutions; and to provide for matters connected therewith and ancillary thereto: It is hereby enacted as under: 17. Regulations.---(1) The Board may frame regulations, not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act and the rules to carry out the purposes of this Act. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing powers such regulations may provide for: (a) Schedule of meetings of the Board and the procedure to be followed in such meetings; (b) Circumstances in which an ordinary or special meeting may be convened; (c) Manner in which the minutes shall be circulated and confirmed; (d) Powers to be exercised and functions to be performed by a Committee; (e) Terms and conditions of employment of employees of the Board; (f) Delegation of administrative and financial powers to the Directorate, a Committee or an employee of the Board; (g) Manner in which the Board Fund shall be disbursed; (h) Procurement of goods and services; and (i) Any other matter within the scope of this Act.
