ACT IV OF 2019 ACT IV OF 2019 BALOCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2019 An Act further to amend the Balochistan Local Government Act, 2010 (Act V of 2010) [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 19th April, 2019] No. PAB/Legis; V (08)/2019/2931, dated 19.4.2019.---The Balochistan Local Government (Amendment) Bill No. 08 of 2019 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 30th March, 2019 and assented to by the Governor of Balochistan, on 04th April, 2019 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---WHEREAS, it is expedient further to amend the Balochistan Local Government Act, 2010 (Act V of 2010), for the purpose hereinafter appearing. It is hereby enacted as follows:- 2. Amendment of Section 7, Act V of 2010.---In the Balochistan Local Government Act, 2010 (Act V of 2010), hereinafter referred to as the said Act, in section 7, in subsection (2), for clause (a), the following shall be substituted, namely: - "(a) comprising a village or a number of villages having, as far as possible, an aggregate population between 7000 and 10000, excluding its urban and cantonment areas, to be a Union Council."
