PLD 2021 Balochistan Statutes 30 PLD 2021 Balochistan Statutes 30 ACT IV OF 2021 BALOCHISTAN ARTS COUNCIL (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2021 An Act to amend the Balochistan Arts Council Act, 2018 (Act No.XVI of 2018) [Gazette of Balochistan Extraordinary, 29th March, 2021] No. PAB/Legis;V(04)/2021, dated 29.3.2021.--- The Balochistan Arts Council (Amendment) Bill 2021 (Bill No. 04 of 2021), having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 22nd March, 2021 and assented to by the Governor, Balochistan on 26th March, 2021 is hereby published as an Act of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly. Preamble.---WHEREAS, it is expedient to amend the Balochistan Arts Council Act, 2018 (Act No. XVI of 2018) in the manner herein after appearing. It is hereby enacted as follows: 2. Amendment of section 8, Act XVI of 2018.---In the Balochistan Arts Council Act, 2018 (Act No.XVI of 2018), in section 8,- (a) In subsection (1) for the words "and six ex-officio members out of whom at least three shall be renowned cultural activist women" the Word " other than ex-officio members out of whom at least one member shall be from each division and out of total non-official members at least 4 members shall be women" shall be substituted. (b) In subsection (4),- (i) clauses (d) and (e) shall be omitted; (ii) for clause (c), the following shall be substituted; "(c) Head of Fine Arts Department of Universities in Balochistan".
