CHAPTER VII THE ARBITRATION ACT, 1940 (X OF 1940) [11 March, 1940] An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to Arbitration. WHERE it is expedient to consolidate and amend. the law relating to arbitration in Pakistan. It is hereby enacted as follows:‑ CHAPTER VII MISCELLANEOUS 48. Saving for pending references. The provisions of this Act shall not apply to any reference pending at the commencement of this "Act, to which the law in force immediately before the commencement of this Act shall, notwithstanding any repeal affected by this Act, continue to apply.
