ACT XII OF 1989 ACT XII OF 1989 BALOCHISTAN LAWS (ADAPTATION) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1989 An Act to amend the Balochistan Laws (Adaptation) Order, 1975 [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 28th November, 1989] No.PAB/LEGIS; 111(15)/89, dated 28-11-1989.-- The Balochistan Laws (Adaptation) (Amendment) Bill, 1989 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 18th October, 1989 and assented to by the Governor of Balochistan, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. 2. Amendment of Part II of Schedule of Balochistan Laws (Adaptation) Order, 197.--In the Balochistan Laws (Adaptation) Order, 1975, in Part 11 of the Schedule, the following letter, words, figures and commas appearing after the figure "1961" in column 2, 3 and 4 shall be deleted:-- "VIII. The West Pakistan Hill Tract Im rovemcnt Ordinance 1961.-- (1) In Subsection (2) of Section 1 omit "Capital of the Federation and the Special Areas" and substitute "Tribal Areas". (2) Section 12 to be omitted. (3) Throughout the Act for the words "West Pakistan" substitute the word "Balochistan".
