ACT IX OF 1989 ACT IX OF 1989 BALOCHISTAN WATER AND SANITATION AUTHORITY ACT, 1989 An Act to provide for the establishment of a Water and Sanitation Authority for cities in Balochistan. [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 27th September, 1989] No.PAB/LEGIS: 111(8)/89, dated 27-9-1989.-- The Balochistan Water and Sanitation Authority Bill, 1989 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 10th July, 1989 and assented to by the Governor of Balochistan, is hereby published as-an Act of the Provincial Assembly. CHAPTER II CONSTITUTION OF THE AUTHORITY 3. Establishment of an Authority.--There shall be an Authority which shall be a body corporate in the name of the Balochistan Water and Sanitation Authority having perpetual succession and a common seal, with powers to acquire and hold property, both movable and immovable, and to sue or be sued by the said name.
