ACT IX OF 1989 ACT IX OF 1989 BALOCHISTAN WATER AND SANITATION AUTHORITY ACT, 1989 An Act to provide for the establishment of a Water and Sanitation Authority for cities in Balochistan. [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 27th September, 1989] No.PAB/LEGIS: 111(8)/89, dated 27-9-1989.-- The Balochistan Water and Sanitation Authority Bill, 1989 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 10th July, 1989 and assented to by the Governor of Balochistan, is hereby published as-an Act of the Provincial Assembly. CHAPTER V SUPPLY OF WATER AND EXECUTION OF SCHEMES 35. Land Acquisition.--Any land within the Area may be liable for acquisition by the Authority at any time for discharging of any of its functions under this Act in accordance with the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.
