ACT IX OF 1989 ACT IX OF 1989 BALOCHISTAN WATER AND SANITATION AUTHORITY ACT, 1989 An Act to provide for the establishment of a Water and Sanitation Authority for cities in Balochistan. [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 27th September, 1989] No.PAB/LEGIS: 111(8)/89, dated 27-9-1989.-- The Balochistan Water and Sanitation Authority Bill, 1989 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 10th July, 1989 and assented to by the Governor of Balochistan, is hereby published as-an Act of the Provincial Assembly. CHAPTER VIII MISCELLANEOUS 42. Members, Officers and Employees to be Public Servants.-- The Chairman, Members of the Board, Managing Director, officers, servants, experts and consultants of the Authority shall when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of any of the provisions of this Act be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of Section 21 of the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860 (Act XLV of 1860).
