ACT I OF 1992 ACT I OF 1992 BALOCHISTAN ASSEMBLY MEMBERS (SALARIES, AND ALLOWANCES) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1992 An Act further to amend the Balochistan Assembly Members (Salaries and Allowances) Act, 1975 (II of 1975) [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 30th April, 1992] No.PAB/LEGIS:III(I)/91, dated 30-4-1992.------The Balochistan Assembly Members (Salaries and Allowances) (Amendment) Bill, 1991 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 10th March, 1992, and assented to by the Governor of Balochistan, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly. 5. Insertion of new section 5-B in Act II of 1975.--In the said Act, after section 5-A, the following new section shall be inserted, namely:-- "5-B. Free Travel Allowance.--(1) Every member shall be provided during a year with vouchers of the value of thirty thousand rupees for the purpose of any journey within Pakistan without payment of any fare by Air or by Rail: Provided that where a person becomes a member during the course of a year, the value of the vouchers with which he is provided during that year shall not exceed the value which bears the same proportion to thirty thousand rupees as the unexpired portion of the year bears to a year. (2) A member who does not wish to be provided with such vouchers shall be paid traveling allowance of twenty-five thousand rupees in cash during a year for the purpose of any journey.
