ACT V OF 1992 ACT V OF 1992 BANK OF PUNJAB (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1992 An Act further to amend the Bank of Punjab Act 1989 (XII of 1989). [Gazette of Punjab, Extraordinary, 4th June, 1992] No. Legis.2(14)/92/35, dated 4-6-1992.--The Bank of Punjab (Amendment) Bill, 1992, having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab on the 31st day of May, 1992 and assented to by the Governor of the Punjab on the 2nd day of June, 1992, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab:-- 2. Amendment of sections 4 and 7 of Act XII of 1989.-- In the Bank of Punjab Act, 1989 (XII of 1989):-- (a) In section 4, in subsection (1), for the words "two hundred million rupees divided into twenty million ordinary shares", the words "five hundred million. rupees divided into fifty million ordinary shares" shall be substituted; and (b) In section 7, for the words "sixty per cent.", the words "fifty-one per cent." shall be substituted.
