ORDINANCE XVII OF 2001 BALOCHISTAN COASTAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2001 ORDINANCE XVII OF 2001 An Ordinance to amend the Balochistan Coastal Development Authority Act, 1998 [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 4th August, 2001] No. Legis.-2-84(Law)/95, dated 4-8-2001.---The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 2nd August, 2001, is hereby published for general information:-- 4. Amendment of section 6 of Act I of 1998.---In the said Act, for section 6 the following shall be substituted:-- "6. Managing Director.--(1) The Managing Director shall unless Government otherwise so directs, hold his office on such terms and conditions as the Government may determine. (2) The Managing Director on expiry of his term of office shall be eligible for reappointment for another term or for such shorter term as Government may determine. (3) The Managing Director shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority. (4) The Managing Director on authorization by Governing Body shall perform such duties and exercise such powers as are assigned to them by or under this Act. (5) When the Managing Director is absent from duty for any reason or is unable to perform the functions of his office, Governing Body/Chairman may nominate someone to perform the duties of the Managing Director."
