BALOCHISTAN STATUTES BALOCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION (THIRD AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE, 2001 ORDINANCE XII OF 2001 An Ordinance further to amend the Balochistan Local Government Election Ordinance, 2000 [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 9th July, 2001] No. Legis.-1-122(Law)/2000-III, dated 9-7-2001.---The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 5th July, 2001, is hereby published for general information:-- 2. Amendment of section 9 of Ordinance VI of 2000.----In the Balochistan Local Government Election Ordinance, 2000, hereinafter referred to as the said Ordinance for ,section 9, the following shall be substituted:-- "9. Special Minority Seats. -In a union council where the population of minorities is in excess of ten per cent. of the total population of the union, reserved seats for minority communities mentioned in the preceding section shall be allocated in the manner prescribed by the Government."
