ORDINANCE VI OF 2000 BALOCHISTAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION ORDINANCE, 2000 ORDINANCE VI OF 2000 An Ordinance to provide for holding elections for the establishments of local Governments in the Province of Balochistan [Gazette of Balochistan, Extraordinary, 5th October, 2000] No. Legis.-1-122(Law)/2000, dated 5-10-2000.---The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 5th October, 2000, is hereby published for general information:--- 30. Interference with the secrecy of voting.--A person is guilty of an offence punishable with imprisonment which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both, if he: (1) interferes or attempts to interfere with a voter when he records his vote; (2) in any manner obtains or attempts to obtain in a polling station information as to the candidate for whom a voter in that station is about to vote or has voted, or (3) communicates at any time any information obtained in a polling station as to the candidate for whom a voter in that station is about to vote or has voted.
