THE AIRCRAFT (REMOVAL OF DANGER TO SAFETY) ORDINANCE, 1965 THE AIRCRAFT (REMOVAL OF DANGER TO SAFETY) ORDINANCE, 1965 ORDINANCE No. XII OF 1965 [Approved by the National Assembly of Pakistan on the 16th July, 1965, see Gaz. of P.; 1965, Ext., pp. 567-569.] An Ordinance to make provision for the removal of danger to the safety of aircraft 2. Definitions. In this Ordinance, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,- (a) " airfield " means the Karachi Civil Airport, Lahore Cantonment Civil Airport, Dacca Civil Airport, the Pakistan Air Force Airfields as Peshawar, Risalpur, Kohat, Chaklala, Sargodha, Drigh Road and Mauripur and such other aerodrome as the Central Government may, by notification[For specimen of such notifn., see Gaz. of P., 1966. Pt. I, p. 191.] in the official Gazette, declare to be an airfield within the meaning of this Ordinance. (b) "specified area " means the area lying within a radius of five nautical miles from either end of a runway of an airfield.
