ORDINANCE VI OF 1998 ORDINANCE VI OF 1998 AUTHORITY FOR AIWAN-E-IQBAL ORDINANCE, 1998 An Ordinance to provide for the Establishment of Authority for Aiwan-e-Iqbal [Gazette of Pakistan, Extraordinary, Part I, 18th April, 1998] No.F.2(1)/98-Pub., dated 18-4-1998.-----The following Ordinance made by the President is hereby published for general information:-- CHAPTER III POWERS AND FUNCTIONS OF THE AUTHORITY 7. Functions of the Authority.--The following shall be the functions of the Authority, namely:-- (a) to manage, control and maintain Aiwan-e-Iqbal, and administer its affairs; (b) to propagate the teachings of Allama Muhammad Iqbal; (c) to spread Allama Muhammad Iqbal's message of constant struggle for the glory of Islam and Muslim ummah; (d) to work for the revival of the spirit of Ijtehad as advocated by Allama Muhammad Iqbal; (e) to promote study, research and scholarship of Allama Muhammad Iqbal's thoughts and teachings; and (f) to perform such other functions as are ancillary or incidental to any of the above functions.
