ACT V OF 1973 ACT V OF 1973 BALUCHISTAN CONTROL ON POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF DRUGS ACT, 1973 An Act to provide for the continuance of powers to regulate the possession and consumption of certain drugs in the Province of Baluchistan in the public interest to improve the health, morals and well-being of the society [Gazette of Baluchistan. Extraordinary, 8th February 1973] No. Legis. 1-52/Law/72.-The Baluchistan Control on Possession and, Consumption of Drugs Act, 1973, having been passed by the Provincial, Assembly of Baluchistan on the 12th January 1973 and assented to by the Governor of Baluchistan on the 31st January 1973, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Legislature of Baluchistan. 12. Exercise of certain powers.---The powers conferred under section 23(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1930 (II of 1930) may also be exercised for the purposes of this Act, by all the Gazetted Senior Class I Officers of the Health Department of the Province Including Director, Health Services, District Health Officers and Medical Superintendents.
