ORDINANCE X OF 1977 ORDINANCE X OF 1977 BALUCHISTAN BOARD OF INTERMEDIATE AND SECONDARY EDUCATION ORDINANCE 1977 An Ordinance to establish Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Balochistan at Quetta [Gazette of Baluchistan, Extraordinary, 7th November 1977] No. Legis 1-34/Law/75.---The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Baluchistan on the 7th November 1977, is hereby published for general information :- 2. Definition. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expression, shall have the meaning hereby respectively assigned to theme that is to say:- (a) "Board" means the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education constituted under, motion 6 of this Ordinance; (b) "'Chairman" means the Chairman of the Board; (c) "College" meant an Institution within the jurisdiction of the Board and recognised by it for Intermediate Education, and includes a college having intermediate and Degree clue and stated to the University of Baluchistan for the Degree classes ; (d) ''Committee" means a committee constituted under this Ordinance ; (e) "Controller of Examination" means the Controller of Examinations of the Board ; (f) "Controlling Authority" means the Controlling Authority specified in section 12 of this Ordinance ; (g) "Government" meant the Government of Baluchistan; (h) "Head of an Institution'' mesas the Principal of a College or the Headmaster or Headmistress of a school ; (i) "Institution'" mom a college or a school ; (j) "Intermediate College" means an institution recognised for imparting instruction to Class XI and Class, XII, and includes an institution having classes for Intermediate and Secondary Education; (k) "Intermediate Education" means education pertaining to Class XI and XII ; (l) "University" means the University of Baluchistan ; (m) "Quetta Board" mans the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Quetta ; (n) '"Prescribed" means prescribed by regulations or rules ; (o) "Principal" means the Head of a College ; (p) "Recognised" means recognised by the Board ; (q) "School"' means an Institution within the jurisdiction of the Board and recognised by it only for Secondary Education ; (r) "Regulation' and Rules" means respectively the regulation and rules made under this Ordinance ; (s) "Secondary Education" means Education pertaining to Class IX and Class X and such other classes as may be declared by Government to be classes of Secondary Education ; (t) "Secretary" means the Secretary of the Board; (u) "Schedule" means the Schedule appended to the Ordinance;
