Section Provisions
ANTI-TERRORISM ACT, 1997 ANTI-TERRORISM ACT, 1997 37. Contempt of Court.‑‑1. A Special Court, and an Appellate Tribunal shall have the power to punish with rigorous imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months and with fine any person who‑‑ (a) abuses, interferes or obstructs the determination of a matter pending or most likely to wine up before the Court or tribunal. (b) does anything which, by any other law, constituent contempt of court, or Tribunal. Explanation.‑‑In this section, "Court" means a Special Court and "Tribunal" means an Appellate Tribunal.
