AGRICULTURAL PESTICIDES ORDINANCE AGRICULTURAL PESTICIDES ORDINANCE (II OF 1971) [25th January, 1971 ] An Ordinance to regulate the import, manufacture, formulation, sale, distribution and use of pesticides CHAPTER IV MISCELLANEOUS [26‑A. Cognizance and prosecution of offences. The offences punishable under this Ordinance shall be cognizable and non‑bailable but a police officer shall not register or investigate a case relating to an offence under this Ordinance except on complaint by the Inspector and the Public Prosecutor shall be responsible for conducting prosecution of offences under this Ordinance.] Section 26‑A added by the Agricultural Pesticides (Amendment) Act, XXXIX of 1997
