ORDINANCE XLII OF 1980 ORDINANCE XLII OF 1980 ADMIRALTY JURISDICTION OF HIGH COURTS ORDINANCE, 1980 An Ordinance to consolidate and amend the law relating to Courts of Admiralty [Gazette of Pakistan, Extraordinary, Part 1, 2nd September, 1980] 6. Limitation of maritime lien.‑No action shall be brought before the High Court to enforce a maritime lien for the damage sustained in consequence of collision whosesoever occurring or any other maritime lien unless proceed ings therein are commenced within two years from the date of the damage occurring or the maritime lien arising, subject to the discretion of the High Court to extend this period.
