AUQAF (FEDERAL CONTROL) ACT, 1976 AUQAF (FEDERAL CONTROL) ACT, 1976 3. Appointment of Administrator‑General of Auqaf.‑(1) The Government shall, by notification in the official Gazette, appoint an Administrator-General of Auqaf for Pakistan: (2) No person shall be appointed as Administrator-General of Auqaf unless he is a Muslim and possesses such qualifications as may he prescribed . (3) The Administrator General shall be a corporation sole by tile name of the Administrator‑ General of Auqaf, Pakistan, and shall have perpetual succession and an official seal and may sue and be sued in this corporate name. (4) The Administrator‑General shall, in the performance of his functions and exercise of his powers under this Act, be subject to the general control of the Government.
