Section Provisions
AUQAF (FEDERAL CONTROL) ACT, 1976 AUQAF (FEDERAL CONTROL) ACT, 1976 24. Offences.‑(1) Whoever obstructs or offers any resistance to, or impedes or otherwise interferes with,‑ (a) any authority, officer or person exercising any power or discharging any duty conferred or imposed upon it or him by or in pursuance of this Act or otherwise discharging any lawful function under this Act ; or (b) any person who is carrying out the orders of any such authority, officer or person as aforesaid ; shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years, or with fine, or with both. (2) Whoever disobeys or wilfully fails to comply with any requisition or direction issued by the Administrator‑General under section 19 shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, and in the case of a continuing failure, with an additional fine which may extend to fifty rupees for every day after the first during which the failure continues.
