AUQAF (FEDERAL CONTROL) ACT, 1976 AUQAF (FEDERAL CONTROL) ACT, 1976 26. Repeal and savings.‑(1) The West Pakistan Waqf properties ordi nance, 1961 (W. P. Ordinance No. XXVIII of 1961), is hereby repealed. (2) Everything done or purporting to have been done, action taken, liabi lity or penalty incurred or proceeding commenced, officer appointed or person authorised, jurisdiction or power conferred, rule made car order issued under any of the provisions of the Ordinance repealed by subsection (1) shall, so far as it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, continue .in force, and so far as may be, be deemed to have been done, taken, incurred,
