The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 8th July, 2002, is hereby published for general information: Whereas the Government of Balochistan for sustainable development in the province has expressed the desire to establish the Institute of Information Technology at Loralai; And whereas it is in the interest of the region in general and in the interest of the country in particular to establish a center of excellence to provide quality of education at international standard to talented students of Balochistan. And whereas it is expedient to provide for the establishment of the Balochistan Institute of Information Technology and Management Sciences at Loralai and for matters ancillary thereto or connected therewith; And whereas the Governor of Balochistan is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action; Now, therefore, in pursuance of Article 4 of the Provisional Constitution (Amendment) Order, 1999 (Chief Executive's Order No.9 of 1999), and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor of Balochistan is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:‑‑
