Academic and administrative staff.‑‑‑(1) The academic and administrative staff of the Institute shall be selected with a view to achieve stated objectives, and the basic criteria for their selection shall be the highest standards of competence, integrity and efficiency. (2) In the case of‑ academic staff, the academic qualifications and fringe benefits shall not be less than those duly approved by the University Grants Commission for such appointments.
