The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 8th July, 2002, is hereby published for general information: 3. Establishment of the University.---(1) There shall be established a University to be called the Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences Quetta consisting of the Chancellor, the Vice- Chancellor, the Dean, members of Syndicate, the Academic Council, the Board of Faculties the member of University bodies, the teachers and student of the University, its constituent units and Colleges and such other officers and members of staff as may, from time to time, be determined, to be the offices and members of staff of the University. (2) The University shall be a body corporate by name of Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management and Management Sciences Quetta having perpetual succession and a common seal, with power among others, to acquire, hold and dispose of any property or investment and shall by the said name sue and be sued.
