The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 8th July, 2002, is hereby published for general information: 34. Audit and accounts.---(1) The accounts of the University shall be maintained in such form and in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) No expenditure shall be made from the University Fund unless:-- (a) the expenditure is included in the approved budget of the University; and (b) a bill for its payment has been audited in conformity with the Statutes, Regulation and the Rules by the Internal Auditor appointed by the Syndicate. (3) The accounts of the University shall be audited in the prescribed manner once a year by an auditor appointed by Government in this behalf. (4) The annual statement of accounts of the University signed by the Director Finance and the Auditors shall be submitted to Government within six months of the closing of the financial year. (5) The observation of the Government Auditor, together with such annotations as the Director Finance may make, shall be presented to the Syndicate.
