The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 8th July, 2002, is hereby published for general information: 40. Filling of casual vacancies in authorities. ---(1) Any casual vacancy among the selected, appointed or nominated members or any Authority shall be filled as soon as may be possible by the person or the body who elected appointed or nominated the member whose place has become vacant and the person elected, appointed or nominated the member to the vacancy shall be a member of such Authority of the residue of the terms for which the person whose place he fills would have been a member. (2) Where there occurs a vacancy in the constitution of an Authority as constituted by this Ordinance because of the abolition of a specified office kinder the Government or because an organization institution other body outside the University has been dissolved or has ceased to function or cause or some other reasons, it shall be filled in such manners as the Chancellor may direct.
