BALUCHISTAN PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION ACT, 1974 BALUCHISTAN PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION ACT, 1974 ACT IV OF 1974 An Act to provide for the establishment of Baluchistan Public Service Commission [Gazette of Baluchistan, Extraordinary, 27th June 1974] No. Legis-X-(4)/74.-----The Baluchistan Public Service Commission Bill, 1974 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Baluchistan on 7th June 1974, and assented to by the Governor of Baluchistan is hereby publish ed as an act of the Provincial Assembly. 2. Definitions.------In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,- (a) "Commission" means the Baluchistan Public Service Commission established under this Act; (b) "Government" means the Government of Baluchistan; (c) "member" means a member of the Commission and, unless the context otherwise requires, includes the Chairman thereof; (d) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act; and (e) "service of Pakistan" means the service of Pakistan as defined in the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
